Ryan was amazing. I brought the idea to him with a simple picture and he brought it to life better than I could have imagined. I could almost see the wheels in his head start to spin as I talked to him about the piece I wanted, and he had a solid plan in place before I even left the shop. The shop was clean, he was organized and ready before I walked in, and the attention to detail in his work amazed me. I highly recommend him and will definitely have him do more work for me in the future!

For Fathers Day my husband wanted a tattoo but not just any type of tattoo he wanted a Harry Potter tattoo (we are huge Harry Potter fans) but he didn’t want just any tattoo of Harry Potter he wanted Portrait art. Which as anyone can imagine is a Tall order to ask for. So I went on the hunt to search for a portrait artist. I received several recommendations for Ryan at Black hole tattoo and art. I reached out to Ryan via messenger and he called me which is nowadays being able to talk to somebody over the phone adds a wonderful personal touch. I shared with him and image of what my husband wanted, and he asked if we could come in for a consultation when we entered his studio. The first thing I noticed and appreciated was how clean it was. There was a beautiful coffee shop right next to it that was also very delicious. Ryan sat there, explained how long the process was going to take for my husband‘s tattoo, he was incredibly inviting and answered all my husband and my questions, showed us his work and we felt so comfortable that we immediately booked with him. To say that Ryan delivered is a complete understanding he blow us out of the water and the results show this. We will continue to go to Ryan for future projects. If anyone one is looking for a phenomenal artist that is so talented, so kind so professional and so clean you literally found the right person. Ryan thank you so much.

Ryan is awesome,, he spent 2 days working on an angel piece on my back, he did a counceltation with me prior. Also while drafting the decal he made the changes I wanted and nailed it to be an original. I researched all around the Treasure Valley before I selected Black Hole Tattoo & Art. I loved Ryan's use of dark and light and it's obvious he has artistic ability.

This was my first tattoo. I gave Ryan a piece of art that I wanted to be replicated. (I wanted my first tattoo to be my own sketch. That way if there was anything I didn't like, I only had myself to blame). He had an idea to make the design better and I know enough to listen to creatives... his idea was better. He was able to replicate the artwork almost exactly as well as execute his idea into the art. What came out of it was a terrific tattoo that I'm happy with.

Ryan is very professional and knows his craft well. He's good with people, which is important if you're going to sit with somebody for two days of work while they poke you with needles. You can tell that he's a perfectionist, which is EXACTLY what you want with a tattoo artist.
